Shresta Iyer praises Shreyas for his commitment and accomplishments following PBKS' IPL 2025 campaign

After Shreyas Iyer’s incredible voyage in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, his sister, Shresta Iyer, penned a loving greeting to her brother. Shresta was extremely proud of Shreyas’ accomplishments, even though the Punjab Kings (PBKS) lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the June 3 final, resulting in them finishing as runners-up.

Shresta expressed her respect for the PBKS captain’s exceptional performance and commitment to the game throughout the season, calling him a beautiful guy. She praised his efforts and described him as an inspiration and a born leader.

“You have amazing talent and are a very remarkable person! Nothing we say about you will ever be sufficient. You’ve consistently shown your worth, and I sincerely admire all that you’ve accomplished; it’s a tremendous feat. I admire you not only for your outstanding IPL performance this year, but also for the unwavering effort and commitment that made it possible. You are an inspiration, a born leader, and my real advocate. On her official Instagram account, Shresta said, “Win or lose— you’ll always be a winner in my eyes.”

Shresta Iyer thought back on the amazing trip that PBKS has on this season. Eleven years later, PBKS made it to the IPL final. “Every member proved their worth and everyone was a true winner,” she said, praising the franchise’s collective efforts.

“What a trip it has been! I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Time and again, you have all shown yourself and risen to the occasion. You all have so much greatness ahead of you; this is just the beginning! I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming season! You truly are winners because you have won innumerable hearts. I adore you, Punjab Kings team! Shresta said.
