Following their first-ever IPL victory over PBKS by six runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June RCB spoke out about the regrettable stampede incident that took place outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during the celebrations.
Regarding the same, Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a message on social media. Royal Challengers Bengaluru stated on social media that it was regrettable to see the stampede situation, which clearly resulted in fatalities and caused suffering for the supporters. RCB promised to give the families of those who lost loved ones INR 10 lakh in financial support.
“The RCB family has experienced a great deal of distress and pain as a result of yesterday’s regrettable incident in Bengaluru. “RCB has announced financial support of INR 10 lakh to each of the eleven families of the deceased as a mark of respect and a gesture of solidarity,” the IPL team said in a statement posted on their official ‘X’ Twitter.

According to sources, the tragic stampede incident that occurred on June 4, 2025, one day after Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated PBKS in the IPL 2025 final, claimed the lives of eleven persons. 33 additional people were hospitalised as a result of the incident after suffering various injuries.
