The two made valuable contributions to the club, according to Jayawardene, who also mentioned that the five-time champions would miss them in the playoff squad. After a long wait, the former Sri Lankan wished Jacks luck in getting called up by the English team.
Jacks was told to keep his attitude up by Jayawardene, who said he was proud of him. The former T20 World Cup champion went on to say that Rickelton, Jacks, and Bosch all have excellent attitudes and are excellent team players. To say goodbye, he slapped them on the shoulders and wished them luck.
Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma hugged Jacks, while Jayawardene and the support crew hugged Bosch. Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult wished Rickelton luck as he competed in the WTC Final. After that, Bosch, Jacks, and Rickelton signed a jersey to join MI’s 2025 class of athletes.
Before leaving, the three thanked the supporters for their support as they packed their luggage and got on the team bus. After losing to the Punjab Kings in their final IPL 2025 season encounter, MI will play in the Eliminator. In the crucial games, they might not have the three players available.
