IPL 2025: MI vs. PBKS Mid-Innings of Match 69's Funniest Memes

The Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match No. 69 of the current IPL 2025 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, scoring 184/7 in 20 overs. The victor of the match would place in the top two. Shreyas Iyer, the captain of Punjab, chose to bowl first after winning the toss.

With the early loss of Ryan Rickelton, MI’s innings got off to a bad start. Despite appearing to be in form, Rohit Sharma was unable to turn a strong start into a significant score once more, falling for 24 following a spectacular catch by Nehal Wadhera at long-on. After six overs, the score for Mumbai was 52/1.

Tilak Varma continued to show signs of weakness as he fell for a four-ball one after hitting one straight to third man off Vyshak Vijaykumar. In just his third match of the season, Vyshak bowled a superb performance, finishing with figures of 2/44. Once again, Suryakumar Yadav took charge of the situation even though wickets were falling from one end. With the bat, the right-hander, who has been MI’s reliable performer this season, once again dazzled everyone. SKY reached his fifty in thirty-four balls, his fourteenth consecutive T20 score of twenty-five or more. He and Hardik Pandya’s 44-run partnership got MI back on track.

Hardik, who hasn’t got many batting opportunities this season, attempted to quicken his pace before being removed for 24 by Marco Jansen. In the final two overs, Naman Dhir and Suryakumar scored 48 runs together after joining him in the middle. MI finished at 184/7 after failing to reach the 190-mark, even though Vyshak scored 23 runs in his last over. With 2/34, Jansen was PBKS’s best bowler, but Vyshak and Arshdeep Singh also contributed significant wickets.

Here are the most hilarious mid-innings memes from MI vs. PBKS, IPL 2025 Match 69:

Arshdeep Singh was the star of the show, while MI posted 184, he grabbed 2 crucial wickets for just 28 runs. Easily one of the most underrated bowlers in T20 cricket. pic.twitter.com/ljDC5Np0Z9
