Nonetheless, it has been declared that beginning in June, Sri Lanka will host an all-format series against Bangladesh that would consist of Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.
All-format bilateral series, in which teams typically play each other in all three game styles, have decreased, despite the upcoming mega series. This season, the series will start on June 17 and end on July 17 and include two Test matches, three One Day Internationals, and three Twenty20 Internationals.
The Test matches will kick off the series, with the opening match scheduled for June 17–21 at Galle International Stadium. The second Test, which is a part of the World Test Championship cycle, will take place at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo from June 25 to 29.
The R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the first two games of the ODI series, which will take place from July 2 to July 8. The Pallekele International Stadium will host the final match. The T20I series is set to take place in Pallekele, Colombo, and Dambulla between July 10 and July 16.
Bangladesh will be coming off a series that ended in a 1-1 tie with Zimbabwe, while the Sri Lankan team most recently played a Test series against Australia.
