[WATCH] IPL 2025: KL Rahul photographs with his daughter and meets a Telangana MLA

KL Rahul, the top batsman and wicketkeeper for the Delhi Capitals, took a break from his training regimen to meet with Telangana MLA Kaushik Reddy and his daughter Shrinika prior to the Delhi Capitals’ matchup with SunRisers Hyderabad in the 2025 Indian Premier League. The two teams will play each other on Monday, May 5 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, where the meeting was held.

While interacting with the MLA and his daughter, KL Rahul was observed wearing DC’s training outfit.

Before posing for another picture, the cricket player took a selfie with the father-daughter pair and signed a t-shirt for Shrinika. Later, Kaushik Reddy shared a video of their conversation on social media with the description, “Enjoyed spending time with KL Rahul.” I adored the hue of his clothes. “Perfectly pink,” he wrote.

Notably, KL Rahul has amassed 371 runs from nine innings at an average of 53 and a strike rate of 146.06, including three fifties, making him DC’s top run scorer thus far this season. He just scored seven runs and was run out cheaply in the last match against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Now that DC has 12 points from 10 games and is aiming for a postseason berth, it is up to the seasoned batter to make his bat speak for him.

Delhi, who are now sixth in the standings, started the season with four straight victories but have had a difficult few weeks, dropping three of their last four games. On the road, though, they have a better record, winning three of four games. With just three victories in ten games, SRH is currently in ninth place and suffering. They are primarily playing for pride and to ruin the chances of other teams, even if they are mathematically still in the race.
