Ambati Rayudu, a former cricket player for India, commended the Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru for their strong showing in the 52nd IPL 2025 match. The six-time IPL champion asserted that CSK’s performance was their finest of the year.
Ambati Rayudu gave RCB credit for their excellent batting performance even though he thought it was unfortunate that CSK lost the match.
“RCB has performed incredibly well, in my opinion, and CSK also had a strong game of cricket. This is the greatest cricket they have played this season, in my opinion. After the bitter rivalry game, Rayudu posted on JioStar, “RCB was definitely ahead, especially while batting. It’s a little unfortunate that they lost this game.”
Yash Dayal was commended by Ambati Rayudu for his excellent bowling in the final over of the game. He believed that Dayal’s self-confidence exemplified the character of a team striving for victory. Rayudu believed that putting on a show like that against the bitterest of adversaries would boost one’s self-esteem and mood.
“That final over by Yash Dayal and the finish near the end were both outstanding. You want that kind of mindset in your dugout when you’re trying to win the IPL or a championship. And when you accomplish it against your fiercest competitors, it feels much better and gives you a lot of confidence,” Rayudu continued.
For the first time during an IPL season, RCB defeated CSK both at home and away.
For the first time in IPL history, RCB won both of their season’s games against CSK. Earlier this season, RCB won at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium for the first time since 2008. They accomplished it in style by winning by a commanding 50 runs.
Instead, the three-time finalists defeated the five-time champions by a margin of just two runs in a thrilling encounter played in Bengaluru. It was the first time in a single IPL season that RCB had defeated CSK in both home and away games. RCB solidified their position at the top of the table with the victory.
