With seven victories in ten games this season, Shubman Gill has elevated the Gujarat Titans (GT) to new heights. He has participated in the majority of the games and made some high-value, risk-free shots. Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja praised Gill and likened him to Virat Kohli in light of his IPL 2025 performances.
The 25-year-old hitter has become very good at playing offside deliveries and has refined his cover drives. GT is now only one game away from making the playoffs and sits in second place on the points standings.
According to Ajay Jadeja, Shubman Gill has benefited greatly from his ability to remain consistent in cricket. Furthermore, he is ‘excellent’ in his skill set.
“With Shubman Gill, everything are going as usual because he’s so reliable. Gill is just as good as our nation’s Virat Kohli. His scoring approach is similar if you look at how consistently he scores. He waits for the bowler to make a mistake rather than taking unwarranted chances.
