The senior men’s cricket team from India is scheduled to embark on a multi-format trip of nearby Bangladesh, where the bitter rivals will play three One-Dayers and as many Twenty20 Internationals. The Bangladesh Cricket Board recently announced the tour, which was scheduled to follow India’s five-match Test series against England. However, the trip to Bangladesh might not go forward because of unanticipated geopolitical unrest in India after the Pahalgam terror assaults.
The Times of India claims that the escalation of terrorism in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, with Pakistan allegedly playing a key role, could result in the cancellation of the white-ball series even though it is scheduled on the international calendar. According to a close source, the Bangladesh series would probably be cancelled as a result.
“The tour is scheduled, but it’s not finalised yet. Given the current circumstances, there is a good chance that India won’t go Bangladesh for the ODI and T20I matches,” a news source stated.

Location of Asia Cup 2025 is still unknown.
Although nothing has been verified as of yet, it is also believed that the forthcoming Asia Cup, which was originally scheduled for September, may be postponed for the time being. Since neither India nor Pakistan have agreed to play cricket in each other’s countries, the continental event will also be held in a neutral location.
