Using the bat, Suryakumar Yadav made a contribution by hitting 68* runs off 30 balls, which included five sixes and six boundaries. MI’s chances have been maintained by both players’ aggressive batting style.
At the same time, Level 3 of the Divecha Pavilion at the Wankhede was dedicated in Rohit Sharma’s honour by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). During the post-match presentation, the player appeared to be pretty upset as they discussed it.
It’s an enormous honour. I used to come here and watch the games when I was younger. At certain points, we were prohibited from entering the stadium. It’s obviously a really emotional time to receive that great award because I’ve played all of my cricket here and grew up playing at this pitch. When questioned about his impact player role on the squad, Rohit Sharma gave an explanation of why he bats first. In seven innings, the former skipper reached his first IPL 2025 half-century. His batting performance against CSK gave MI something to work on in the future games.
“It’s something we spoke about but 2-3 overs doesn’t make huge difference but it’s not easy when you haven’t fielded for 17 overs, that’s the thought process but I don’t mind that if I my team wants me to come straightaway and bat,” Rohit Sharma said.
