The BCCI Secretary, Devajit Saikia, has revealed that the board will be letting go of some of its support staff members, including Abhishek Nayar, T Dilip, and Soham Desai, when their current terms are up.
Following the incident, Saikia verified the latest events and the Indian board’s measures at a press conference. Additionally, for everyone’s reference, an official statement on the subject may be released. He also promised to confirm the news by issuing a press release on behalf of BCCI.
“A few items are being finished. In a few days, you will receive a press note from BCCI,” News18 reported Saikia as adding.
Both the Fielding Coach and the Indian Assistant Coach are yet to be replaced. Adrian Le Roux, who presently works for PBKS and previously worked for BCCI, has apparently taken the job of the S&C Coach. A week ago, the three were told that BCCI was leaving them. It stated that before India’s visit to England, there might not be any fresh hires.

Sitanshu Kotak was hired as the Indian Batting Coach as a result of Abhishek Nayar inability to support the batting unit during the BGT 2024–2025.
“While the BCCI didn’t act immediately but they brought in Kotak, the former Saurashtra run accumulator, it was a way of sidelining Abhishek Nayar during the Champions Trophy,” a source told News18.
