Before the RCB match, Jasprit Bumrah is cleared by the CoE to attend the Mumbai Indians camp.

Jasprit Bumrah, India’s pace leader, is scheduled to make his IPL comeback with the Mumbai Indians (MI) the following week. Since suffering a back injury during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) earlier this year, the renowned fast bowler has been sidelined.

The right-arm bowler, who is renowned for his accuracy in the death over, has been recovering from an injury sustained in January during the Sydney Test match against Australia. According to insiders, the right-arm bowler will undergo two simulation matches to demonstrate his match fitness before making a comeback, even though his recuperation has showed encouraging signs. The 31-year-old is therefore not expected to play in MI’s forthcoming matchup with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Monday, April 7.

According to reports, Jasprit Bumrah is a candidate for Sunday, April 13’s away game against the Delhi Capitals (DC).

The Mumbai Indians have always benefited greatly from Bumrah’s presence, as he has taken 165 wickets at an outstanding average of 22.52 from 133 IPL games. In addition to being important for MI’s campaign, the bowler’s comeback to competitive cricket is also important for Team India, who will play England in a five-Test series following the conclusion of the IPL.

In contrast, MI’s season is now off to a forgettable start. With just two points from their first four games, they are in seventh place on the standings and have only earned one victory. Their problems have only gotten worse after they lost to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 12 runs last night.

Without the Indian bowler, who frequently makes the breakthroughs, the team has been having trouble. It is anticipated that the return of the cricket player from Ahmedabad will give the bowling attack much-needed solidity and experience. Fans and management are looking forward to Bumrah’s return as MI looks to improve their record and move up the standings.
