After Tuesday, April 1’s LSG vs. PBKS game in Lucknow, reports have surfaced accusing Lucknow Super Giants executives and owner Sanjiv Goenka of skipping the post-match ceremony. There were questions regarding the Lucknow Super Giants authorities’ intentions because no official was present. Various sources have provided varying reports.
According to one of the reports, the presentation required the dispatch of an official. It should be noted that the Lucknow Super Giants owner and all of the important officials were at the stadium. There were no plans for their appearance, according to an official.
According to a source cited by News18, “Mr Goenka was on the pitch, and there was no such arrangement at all,”
In response, another source noted that Goenka’s name was on the list of people scheduled to visit the centre but was later cancelled. According to the source, Goenka had to be replaced by an official.
“If that is the case, LSG should have sent one of their franchise officials for the post-match presentation,” a different insider stated. Amid the intense exchanges between the owner, captain, and other LSG executives following their team’s games, the problem has shaken the LSG camp.
