Mohsin Khan will be replaced at LSG by Shardul Thakur.

The Lucknow Super Giants have signed Mumbai fast bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur to replace Mohsin Khan in the 2025 Indian Premier League. Mohsin’s injury has prevented him from playing this season.

Mohsin Khan last played in a competitive game in December 2024 after suffering an ACL tear.

After a series of excellent all-around performances during the domestic season, Shardul was selected from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) at his base price of INR 2 crore.

Shardul Thakur was not sold during the auctions.

Shardul has played in 95 IPL matches and taken 94 wickets. In the past, he has played for the Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Super Giants, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders.

He has hit lower in the order and produced some clutch performances with the bat, including a peak score of 68.
