Shakib Al Hasan passes a reevaluation test for questionable bowling behavior.

Shakib Al Hasan, a senior all-rounder for Bangladesh, has finally passed the reassessment test for questionable bowling behavior. Twice previously, the sluggish left-arm bowler had failed the exam.

Shakib’s troubles started when he played for Surrey versus Somerset in a County Championship match at Taunton in September 2024. After taking a test at Loughborough University, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) banned him from bowling in all of their competitions after the game. At the moment of release, his elbow’s extension was greater than the permitted 15 degrees.

In December 2024, Shakib had a second test at Chennai’s Sri Ramachandra Centre for Sports Science. His selection to the national team suffered as a result of his suspension. Because the selectors did not want to select him as a specialist hitter, he also did not win the Champions Trophy. It has been stated that he had made it his final international cricket competition.

Shakib Al Hasan, meanwhile, verified that he had passed the test a third time.

Shakib reportedly stated, “The news is right (passing about the bowling test), and I am cleared to bowl again,” according to Cricbuzz.

Shakib Al Hasan last few months have been difficult.

Shakib experienced both an on-field and an off-field setback in cricket. Beginning in June 2024, he served as a member of parliament for the then-ruling Awami League, which was the target of the quota reform demonstrations and the ensuing instability throughout the nation. The movement became so powerful and fierce that it overthrew the government and forced party members who were overseas to leave Bangladesh or avoid it altogether.

During and after the upheaval, Shakib was criticized by the general public for never raising his voice. In October 2024, he finally spoke up and expressed regret for what he had done.
