The three-time winners have often outperformed the majority of other teams in the league, with a 53.40 percent success rate since 2020. They are now the league’s most successful squad among teams with more than fifty games played, and they have the greatest victory rate since 2020, making them one of the most reliable teams in recent years.
The reigning three-time champions have only won one title in the past five years (clearly in 2024) and placed second once (2021). More significantly, even though MS Dhoni guided them to two crowns throughout this time, they have won more games than the Chennai Super Kings.

They came in fifth place in 2020, narrowly missing out on a play-off spot. They finished as finalists in 2021, finished a dismal seventh in 2022 and 2023, and then won the championship last season under Shreyas Iyer’s leadership.
Remarkably, with 62% and 55.80% of the total wins and losses, respectively, the Gujarat Titans (28 wins and 17 losses) and Lucknow SuperGiants (24 wins and 29 losses) have the highest success rates of any team. They haven’t cut a larger sample size, though, as they have played the fewest games—45 and 44, respectively.
