How much money will each Indian player win in the 2025 Champions Trophy?

India came out on top. India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the summit match in Dubai on March 9 to win the Champions Trophy 2025. After winning the 2013 edition under MS Dhoni and finishing as co-winners with Sri Lanka in 2002, this was their third success in the prized ODI competition.

Speaking of the summit match, India lost the toss and narrowly defeated the Kiwis to 251/7. The spinners saved the day, taking five of the seven wickets that fell without giving up many runs, despite the four missed opportunities. Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket, while Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav each took two. Michael Bracewell scored a strong 53 and Daryl Mitchell scored a cool 63.

Rohit Sharma launched the attack on the opposition and reached a fast fifty to start the run-chase in style. But there was a slowdown as a result of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill’s abrupt dismissals. Before Shreyas Iyer’s sane 48 and Axar Patel’s vital 29 steadied India’s ship, Rohit eventually died for 76. In the end, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul’s composure saw India cross the finish line without any more problems.

How Much Cash Will Each Indian Player Get for Winning the Champions Trophy in 2025?

The Indian team will get INR 19.45 crore ($2.24 million) out of the INR 59.9 crore ($6.9 million) prize pool that will be split among all competing teams.

The INR 59.9 crore represents a staggering 53% increase over the tournament’s previous edition, which took place in 2017.

Although it is uncertain how much money each member of the victorious Indian contingent would earn specifically, it is reasonable to presume that the 15-person squad and the support staff will split the monetary reserve equally. The Board of Control for Indian cricket may offer further incentives. furious after the former defeated New Zealand by four wickets in a fiercely contested match.
