The lengthy wait is over—Ellyse Perry has returned, and she made sure it was truly spectacular! The Australian superstar has officially joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore team before of the highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season, following weeks of anxiety.
Following Perry’s injury during the one-off Ashes Test, which caused her to miss a crucial portion of England’s opening innings, RCB supporters have been on edge. Social media was inundated with anxious questions, like “Where is Perry?” as tensions over her WPL availability increased.
As Smriti Mandhana, Renuka Singh, Heather King, Georgia Wareham, and Kim Grath—all important members of the RCB—reported to the camp, Perry’s absence only served to heighten rumours. The identical question was raised in a flurry of comments for every team update.
