The Men in Blue have won the ODI series between England and India after winning the match in Cuttack, making it yet another great series. The match’s hero was none other than Rohit Sharma, who at last found his form by smashing a century (119 off 90) and laying the groundwork for a chase of 300 or more.
After 338 days, Rohit finally achieved his long-awaited century. Prior to the contest, he had been struggling in the previous international games. He destroyed the England bowlers throughout the park, which was sufficient to declare him the Player of the Match. Throughout the innings, Rohit struck seven maximums and twelve fours.
Without a doubt, Rohit received a lot of attention following his century in Cuttack. In fact, his supporters even observed him talking animatedly on the phone. But it was Rohit’s phone, not him, that garnered media attention. It should be mentioned that Rohit was previously spotted carrying a phone from a different brand.

In the meantime, Rohit’s century in Cuttack was his 32nd in ODIs,
and he currently tops current colleague Virat Kohli (50) and Sachin Tendulkar (49) for the most hundreds in the format. He surpasses the great players Sanath Jayasuriya and Ricky Ponting. In terms of his total record in the format, he sits just 13 runs short of reaching the 11000-run mark.
