On Sunday, February 9, at the Barbati Stadium in Cuttack, India’s Shubman Gill made a spectacular running catch to dismiss Harry Brook during the second One-Day International of the three-match series against England.
Shubman Gill was sprinting back from mid-off towards long-on, and the ball was moving pretty well,
So it was a fantastic grab. Gill, however, remained composed and swam to the furthest extent to grasp the ball with both hands.
Partnership broken in style!

Additionally, the dismissal put an end to Brook and Joe Root’s 66-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Although it had begun slowly, the partnership was progressing nicely.
Nevertheless, during his second period, Harshit Rana tried a short ball, and Brook was unable to make the needed connection and ultimately couldn’t get away from a rushing Gill.
Brook continued his relatively peaceful visit in India. After a fantastic tour to New Zealand, right before his trip to India, he has only managed to get going so far and has only one fifty to his name.
