Sanya Malhotra, an Indian actress, recently made headlines when she answered a question on cricket during a podcast appearance. The Dangal actress, who is promoting her next movie Mrs., was asked to pick between Indian cricket batting greats Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. She acknowledged that she knew very nothing about the sport, but her remark garnered a lot of attention.
Currently preparing for the February 7 release of ‘Mrs’, Sanya, who has starred in films such as Jawan, Shakuntala Devi, Ludo, and Badhaai Ho… During the film’s promotion on Shubhankar Mishra’s The Unplugged Podcast, the 32-year-old was challenged to choose between the two cricket players. Without much thought, Malhotra selected Kohli, but she made it clear that her selection had nothing to do with his cricket prowess.
“Virat Kohli, I don’t know. To be honest, I don’t watch cricket, I hardly watch it and have very limited knowledge about it,” she said.
Ab malum pra Virat ke sare fans aise hi follow kar lete hai without cricket knowledge 😆#botfollowers pic.twitter.com/sODhaolBvO

For national duty, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have returned.
Beginning on February 6, 2025, at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur, Indian batting legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play England in a three-match ODI series. In order to recover form before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 later this month, both batsmen will be hoping to move behind their disappointing Test season.
Virat Kohli performed marginally better with 382 runs in 10 Tests at an average of 22.87, while Rohit had a miserable run in Test cricket, making just 164 runs in eight matches at an average of 10.93. They continued to struggle in domestic cricket, raising questions about their performance. Nonetheless, both hitters are excited to play the same kind of cricket that everyone loves and love the 50-over format.
