‘Jos Buttler’s captaincy was excellent’- Michael Vaughan after India defeats England 4-1

I like Jos Buttler's captaincy in this series. His imaginative captaincy is different from Jos' in white-ball cricket "Vaughan added.

'Jos Buttler's captaincy was excellent'- Michael Vaughan after India defeats England 4-1

On either side of their 29-run victory in Rajkot in the third T20I England suffered crushing defeats in the five-match series. In the end, the team led by Jos Buttler lost 4-1.

Despite the way that the visitors were destroyed, former English captain Michael Vaughan praised Buttler’s style of leadership.

“I believe Jos Buttler has done a fantastic job as captain for this series. In white-ball cricket, Jos has demonstrated a distinct style of captaincy, and he has been innovative. Additionally, the way he is speaking now is excellent for the media because he will be adding lines going forward,” Vaughan said.

He would be more than delighted to send the following lines to the media: The story of the concussion substitution that played out during the fourth Twenty20 International was also mentioned by Buttler Vaughan.

“It’s nice. With his friendship with [coach] Baz McCullum, I believe Jos will contribute a little more front-foot conversation. He would probably be delighted to give the media a few sentences, which is fantastic. Regardless of what anyone claims, England was thoroughly beaten in the most recent match. They still had enough, though, to win the game,” he continued.

At Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, England’s series finale ended in their most crushing loss. After choosing to field first, Abhishek Sharma’s blitz destroyed Buttler and company, as India amassed 247 runs on the board thanks to his 135 off of 54 balls. This was supposed to be a high-octane run-chase, but instead the visitors were hustled out for a pitiful 97. After this, they will start the three-match ODI series, which is set to start in Nagpur on February 6.
