Many fans and commentators have praised the Indian team’s efforts, particularly their brave cricketing approach during the series. Even India’s coach, Gautam Gambhir, expressed his pride in the team’s performance, saying they want to continue playing this way and not worry about losing any games.
After defeating England 4-1 in the five-match series, the Indian team has maintained their supremacy in T20Is. A spectacular century from Abhishek Sharma, who also became the second-fastest Indian centurion in the shortest format, helped the hosts crush the Jos Buttler-led team by 150 runs in the series’ final game at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

And I believe that these individuals have done it consistently over the past six months,” Gautam Gambhir stated in an interview with Star Sports.

We want to keep playing in this manner and not worry about losing anything when those major tournaments arrive,” Gambhir continued.

In addition to Abhishek Sharma, Varun Chakravarthy was the series’ second star. He took 14 wickets in the five games and was named Player of the Series. Varun made a spectacular return to international cricket in the previous few series after having a poor showing in the 2021 T20 World Cup.
