The two-match Test series ended on a high note when West Indies pulled off a spectacular comeback against Pakistan to draw level. They were able to defeat Pakistan at Multan by a score of 120 runs. With just over eight sessions left, the match ended after the visitors’ clinical play carried them over the finish line.
It was the Windies’ first defeat in Pakistan in the longest format since November 1990, and West Indian Test captain Kraigg Brathwaite was thrilled with the victory.
Kraigg Brathwaite asserted that, considering the average age of his XI in relation to Pakistan’s, it was an even greater accomplishment.
“We haven’t played in Pakistan for a while, but we haven’t won here either, so it’s amazing that we came here and performed as a young team. A ball with your name on it is located around the corner of this pitch. It was encouraging to see us use the bat to do it in the second inning. I had a nice experience. “You can have a similar mindset when you play on better pitches, and it will help you in the long run,” Brathwaite said during the post-match ceremony.

Gudakesh Motie and Jomel Warrican were praised profusely by the top-order batsman for their performances during the match.
“He consistently claims to be among the Caribbean’s top off-spin players, so it’s encouraging to see him score some runs. The first innings was really set up for us by him and Motie. Although he has been in and out for a while, Brathwaite continued, “He demonstrated his class and is here to stay.”
Motie’s 55, which came in at number nine, was the highest score the West Indies had in their opening inning. He and Warrican put on a crucial 68-run partnership for the last wicket, which helped his team reach 163. Warrican was named Player of the Match for his nine wickets in the match, as well as his 36 and 18 in his team’s first and second innings, respectively.
