Harbhajan Singh, a former cricketer for India, has made some intriguing decisions in his opinions about how India should field for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. In a hybrid format, the international event will take place in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9 following months of deadlock.
As per Harbhajan, Axar Patel is prepared to take Ravindra Jadeja’s place. The Gujarat all-rounder has recently shown remarkable improvement in his batting, although he was always a strong left-arm spinner. For the eight-team event, only one of the two spin-bowling all-rounders may be selected for India’s side. The Delhi Capitals player is expected to make the cut, according to Harbhajan.

Samson made history in 2024 when he became the first batter to reach three hundred runs in Twenty20 Internationals in a single year. In contrast, last year’s white-ball format did not see Rishabh Pant have a particularly successful run with the bat.
Samson should be included in the Indian team instead of Pant, according to Harbhajan, since the latter had a lengthy tour in Australia and may take a break during the Champions Trophy.
