On Friday, December 20, Tabakman shared some videos of the hair-cutting session with Virat Kohli for his ardent followers, and the Delhi-based batter was seen meeting the renowned hair stylist. Remarkably, this was not the first time the Indian batting mainstay had hired the famous hairstylist.
With Australia, the hosts, playing India in the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024–25), Test cricket activity has been blowing up. Following three Test matches and a few see-saw matches, the series is currently tied at one. Rain God helped Team India secure the draw in Brisbane after they lost the pink ball match despite having a strong start in Perth. The previous captain and star batsman, Virat Kohli, appeared unmotivated following a return century in Perth, and the Indian team was plagued by a number of batting problems.
Like other athletes, though, they strive to do something different off the pitch besides practise. Some rely on vacations or sightseeing, while others want to experience the local way of life and food. However, when Kohli visited Jordan Tabakman, a famous hairstylist, in Australia to get a new hairstyle for the fourth Test, he had other ideas.
Kohli met Jordan Tabakman in 2022 during the T20 World Cup. In addition, he is not the only Indian cricket player that likes playing hairstyles with Australians. Star players like Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan have also used Tabakman’s services in the past in addition to him.
