Ravindra Jadeja showcases his love for horses during Gabba Test

The Indian squad is currently in a very vulnerable position in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–25. Rohit Sharma and his team are hoping for a draw as day five of the current third Test draws near after winning in Perth and losing in Adelaide.

Nevertheless, seasoned Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has managed to make headlines despite the pandemonium.

‘Marwadi Stallion’ was imprinted on a special bat that Ravindra Jadeja was seen using during the third Test series. It is noteworthy that Jadeja has a deep affection for horses, and it appears that he used a unique bat to honour them.

The match between Australia and India has been tense for the duration of the third Test. Following convincing victories in the first two matches, respectively, by Australia and India, the series score stands at 1-1. Rain has plagued the third Test of the series, though.

The continuous interruptions did not stop the Australians from scoring 445 runs in the first innings. In addition, the Indian team was restricted to a poor total by the hosts. The score for the Indian team at the end of day four was 252/9.

KL Rahul scored 84 runs in 139 deliveries, while the rest of the team’s top order did not perform well. Ravindra Jadeja scored an incredible 77 runs in 123 deliveries. Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep were instrumental in saving India from the follow-on and preserving the possibility of a tie.

India will want to win the remaining series matches and aim for a draw, as the WTC final qualifying is on the line. In this situation, though, India will have to rely on the outcomes of other teams and hope for the best.
