Reports: Jay Shah condemns PCB's Champions Trophy tour decision in PoK 

The first ICC event to be held in Pakistan since 1997 is being anticipated. The 2025 Champions Trophy is expected to start in February. According to reports, India has denied visiting Pakistan, where all of the teams are playing. The action follows the Indian government’s decision to bar the Men in Blue from crossing the border because of long-standing political and geographic hostilities between the two nations.

The Indian government was reluctant to send the team to Pakistan, thus the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided against going there. According to TOI, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has denounced the Pakistan Cricket Board’s recent tweet inviting their compatriots to the Trophy tour in response to the speculations that have gained notice. Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) includes Skardu, Hunza, and Muzaffarabad as participating locations.
