New Zealand announces team for England Tests; Williamson returns, Southee will retire after series

New Zealand will once again turn their attention to the longest format when they play England in a three-game Test series after finishing their current ODI series against Sri Lanka. From November 28, December 6, and December 14, the two teams will play each other in Hamilton, Wellington, and Christchurch.

The Black Caps have some positive news ahead of the series as Kane Williamson has recovered from the groin injury that prevented him from playing in the most recent three-game Test series against India. In addition, Nathan Smith received his first call-up to the Test team.

Jacob Duffy, an uncapped pacer, has also been added to the team. Additionally, Mitchell Santner will be available for the second and third Tests but not for the first.
