The West Indies squad can now include star Windies pacer Alzarri Joseph, who has returned from suspension, for the remaining three Twenty20 International series against England. But Joseph’s inclusion also hurts the Windies since Andre Russell, their star all-round player, is out of the series because of an ankle sprain.
With two T20I losses to their name, West Indies is looking to bounce back in the remaining games of the series.
Alzarri Joseph will take Shamar Joseph’s place, and Andre Russell will be replaced by all-arounder Shamar Springer.
According to a release from Cricket West Indies (CWI), “Alzarri Joseph will return to the squad in Saint Lucia for the pivotal final leg of the series after serving his two-match suspension, replacing Shamar Joseph.”
Remarkably, the Cricket West Indies (CWI) banned Joseph for two games after he protested with captain Shai Hope and left the game midway. Now that his ban has been removed and he has publicly apologized for the incident, Joseph will hopefully perform better and behave better.
When the West Indies and England faced off in their second Twenty20 International on November 10, the Windies batted first and scored 158 runs in the opening innings. England’s second consecutive victory was achieved because to Jos Buttler’s 83-run knock.

In addition, England will play the West Indies in the next three games at St. Lucia after losing the first two of the series. In the upcoming three Twenty20 Internationals, the hosts will play England on November 15, 17, and 18.
