The first child born to Sarfaraz Khan and his wife Romana Zahoor was a boy, who was blessed on Monday, October 21. Last August 7, the cute pair tied the knot.
Sarfaraz’s father, Naushad Khan, also shared a picture of the newborn and his older son on Instagram to commemorate becoming a grandfather. In case you were unaware, Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz’s younger brother, made his debut for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy the previous season.
Since Zahoor entered Sarfaraz’s life, the gifted cricket player has had tremendous success. Earlier this year, he made his eagerly anticipated debut for his country against England. He also achieved his first Test century in the just finished first Test between India and New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, however it was a defeat.

Does Sarfaraz Khan have enough to earn a spot in the second Test?
In three consecutive games against England, Sarfaraz scored three half-centuries. However, in the Test series against Bangladesh, which ended earlier this month, he was not given a chance to be in the starting lineup. But when Shubman Gill was ruled out with stiff neck, he had his chance in the first Test match against the Kiwis.
Sarfaraz has taken full advantage of his chance and given the team management a happy selection dilemma. Gill is anticipated to rejoin the team for the second Test, which starts in Pune on Thursday, October 24.
With a spectacular 150 off 195 balls, Sarfaraz might save his spot in the team if India choose to bench Gill instead of KL Rahul.
