The southpaw, who played at number five after being moved up the order, attributed his knock to the similar position he held when batting for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket.

He has scored 3,179 runs at a remarkable average of 53.88 in 48 first-class matches, along with seven hundreds and twenty half-centuries. Rinke remembered his time spent in his native country and professed his appreciation for the longer format following his outstanding knock against Bangladesh.
“I enjoy using the red ball to play with. I bat at number five or six when wickets fall in domestic games, and that is how I played like I did in this match. Therefore, I continue to support myself and concentrate on helping the team score runs and get out of tight spots,” Rinku stated in an interview with Jio Cinema.

Aside from Rinku, Nitish Kumar Reddy’s powerful performance amazed the audience. In his second game for India, the right-handed batter struck quickly, scoring 74 off just 34 deliveries with a 217.65 strike rate, helped by four boundaries and seven maximums. Regarding his accomplice for the day, Rinku remarked that the Nitish batted with “great intelligence.”
