Afghanistan's ace Rashid Khan gets married in Kabul, pictures go viral

Rashid Khan, an Afghan spinner who is among the best in the game, recently tied the knot on October 3. The wedding took place in Kabul, and the photos and videos from the festivities went viral on social media. Recognised as one of the top all-around players in the shortest format, Rashid tied the knot in accordance with Pashtun tradition.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows numerous people walking around with guns outside the wedding location. In addition, images of the wedding location have also been going viral.

As anticipated, a number of cricket players from Afghanistan attended the wedding. Several of them even congratulated Rashid on the important occasion on X, the former name of Twitter.

As he gave Rashid his congratulations, Muhammad Nabi showed off a few images from the nuptials. “To Rashid Khan, the one and only King Khan, congratulations on your marriage! Nabi tweeted, “I hope you have a lifetime filled with love, joy, and prosperity.

In terms of cricket, Afghanistan will next play Bangladesh in a three-game ODI series. On November 6, 9, and 11, the two sides will square off. The locations of the games have not yet been selected.

In their most recent match, Afghanistan triumphed over South Africa in a three-match ODI series, having won the first two and lost the third. They intend to keep up this trend and win more games against Bangladesh in the near future.
