On Day 2 of the upcoming one-off U-19 Test match between Australia and India, Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history by hitting an incredible century off just 58 balls at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In U-19 Tests, the 13-year-old set a new record for India’s fastest centurion.
Additionally, Suryavanshi narrowly missed setting the record for the fastest century in U-19 Tests overall. Currently, Moeen Ali holds it after smashing a 56-ball century in 2005. Returning to Suryavanshi’s mastery in the opening session on Tuesday, October 01, the left-handed hitter reached his landmark with 14 fours and 4 sixes.
