After winning the fifth and final ODI in Bristol, Australia secured the five-game ODI series against England. Australia won the first two One-Day Internationals (ODIs) of the series, but England won the third and fourth matches to tie the series. It all came down to the fifth and final match, which the Australians won using the DLS technique.
Travis Head, an excellent batter from Australia, was named Player of the Match for his overall performance. Head scored 31 off 26 to start the innings and looked good with the ball, taking four wickets in 6.2 overs.
As he evaluated his performance, Head said he had not anticipated bowling the 50th over twice during the ODI series. Additionally, he discussed how to effectively manage his workload in front of significant assignments.

Mitchell Marsh of Australia, who did not participate in the fifth ODI, also praised Head, saying that the Men in Yellow had let him to play how he wants to.
“We simply let him go and do what he does. He is a game changer because he has discovered true consistency in his approach. He simply wants to be as clear as possible, so we let him go. He’s a tremendous character when he bowls, and I love his celebrations.

I think he’s a really undervalued bowler, and every time he bowls, he seems to impact the game in some manner. A little later in their inning, the weather shifted and it began to spin. We’re fortunate to have options like him,” Marsh remarked.
