India is the toughest tour these days, and possibly unstoppable at home. Shakib al Hasan

Since COVID-19, India has hosted 18 Test matches, winning 13 of them. They ended up with three losses and two draws. They have defeated Test giants like Australia, England, and New Zealand and have been almost invincible at home. Veteran Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh is prepared to put up a fierce fight in the second Test in Kanpur, even though he is aware of how difficult it will be to defeat the team captained by Rohit Sharma.

Bangladesh was defeated by 280 runs in the first Test in Chennai. Following the disaster, the all-round player said that India is most likely undefeated at home and recalled that all other teams have had trouble competing against them in red-ball cricket. He also made a comparison between the Indian and Pakistani teams, pointing out that the Shan Masood-led team was comparatively inexperienced and younger, which allowed them to accomplish the task.

Pakistan is, in my opinion, a rather inexperienced and youthful team. Shakib was quoted by as saying, “If you look at the matches they’ve played and compare it to our team, we have more experience, and that’s a massive factor in Test cricket.”

India is now the best squad in the world and is most likely invincible at home.

They are unstoppable at home, but they are performing well elsewhere as well. India is challenging for any country, and ours is no exception. Having said that, in order to demonstrate the fight we believe we are capable of, we need to perform extremely well. These days, I believe the hardest trip is India. We hardly see India losing Tests, he continued, although other teams might drop a single or two matches.

It’s not ideal for us to finish the match in three and a half days: Shakib al Hasan

Shakib said in his analysis of the first Test that while the batting order let him down in the first innings, he was pleased with how they improved in the second. The all-rounder stated that Bangladesh didn’t think it was optimal to complete the Test match in three days and that they are capable of more. In Kanpur, he also anticipates improved performance from the batsmen.

“I think we played really well in spurts in Chennai, but it wasn’t ideal for us to play the whole three and a half days.” We believed that as a team, we are superior to it. We have another chance tomorrow, therefore we must perform to the best of our abilities in the game.

“Only in terms of batting, there was progress from the opening to the second innings. We were bowled out for 150 in the first innings, but we scored about 250 in the second.

If we can score 350 or more in the upcoming Test match, it will be a significant improvement. A 350–400 score in the opening innings will instill a great deal of confidence in our group, Shakib said.
