Virat Kohli huge innings will make it difficult for Australia to win: Grey Chappell

Modern-day great Virat Kohli is unmatched in his level of dedication to the sport. The cricketer, who was born in Delhi, has the second-most international centuries and has scored runs all around the world. In the next four-match Test series between India and Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he would be a crucial player for India.

Former Australian great Greg Chappell discussed how important Kohli is to the Indian team and how he might cause problems for Australia in the forthcoming series, which begins on February 9 in Nagpur.

“Virat Kohli is an extremely talented athlete. among the greatest. The finest players always want to perform at their peak in the best competitions. If you notice, Virat always wants to defeat Australia and has given some of his best innings against them. He’ll have a significant influence on this series. It will be difficult for Australia to win the series if Virat scores large runs “during the Backstage with Boria show, Greg Chappell remarked.

This series will be greatly impacted by Virat Kohli batting: Stephen Chappell

Chappell continued by stating that if the Australian bowlers dominate him, Australia might have a chance. Added he, “On the other hand, Australia would have a great chance to win the series if the bowlers can prevent Virat Kohli from getting a lot of runs. In conclusion, Virat’s batting will significantly influence this series.”

The Vidharbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur will host the first Test match between Australia and India. The much anticipated series is anticipated to feature a titanic struggle between the two sides. Australia would be aiming for a rare series victory against India in India, while India would be looking to maintain their dominance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The teams will travel to Delhi for the second Test, which will begin on February 17, after the first Test is completed in Nagpur. The two series’ final Test games will take place in March in Dharamshala and Ahmedabad.
