David Warner's Test difficulties in India are attributed, in Aakash Chopra's words, to his "very little trust in defence."

The cut shot and the pull shot are strengths of David Warner, but we don’t get to play these shots very frequently in India, according to Chopra.
Aakash Chopra, a former cricketer, has offered opinions on the potential influence David Warner could have on India in the next Border-Gavaskar series. Additionally, Chopra addressed the 36-year-difficulties old’s when playing Test matches on Indian soil.

David Warner has been playing well in Test cricket and is coming off a recent double century at home against South Africa.

David Warner troubles on Indian pitches, according to Chopra, are due to his poor footwork and tendency to hurl his hands at the ball. Chopra also noted Warner’s game’s shortcomings.

“He can’t get many runs when he travels to India to play Test cricket because of an incident. He uses little footwork when he throws his hands at the ball; his front foot doesn’t come out very much, “Chopra stated while hosting Aakashvani, a new daily sports programe on Jio Cinema.
As he continued, “Warner’s strengths are the cut shot and the pull shot, but we don’t get to play these shots very much in India because there isn’t much place to play cut shots, and even if you do, there’s no bounce, and even if you get the bounce, there’s no pace in that ball.”

He doesn’t have much faith in his defence. Chopra, Aakash

Australia will be hoping for a strong performance against India as they attempt to advance to the World Test Championship final. Warner’s performances will be essential if Australia is to prevail in the forthcoming series. Warner has very little faith in his defence, according to Chopra, who also compared his batting style to Ricky Ponting’s.

“David Warner lacks a great deal of faith in his defence. He approaches the ball with very firm hands, much like Ricky Ponting once did, and believe me when I say that the person who approaches the ball with firm hands will be helpless. He has yet to conquer the Indian frontier, so in order to accomplish so, he must alter his playing style, self-defense philosophy, and skill “Chopra remarked.
