Chris Broad will play in his 350th game during the opening ODI between England and New Zealand.

Chris Broad, a former English batsman and well-known member of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, is about to officiate his 350th men’s ODI match. He will preside over the opening ODI of their multi-format series between England and New Zealand.

In 2003, Chris Broad became a member of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, and in 2004, he officiated his first ODI. In addition, he officiated the ICC World Cups in 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019. In 2004, 2013, and 2017 he participated in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Speaking of his playing experience, Broad served as an opening hitter for England. He competed for England in 25 Test games and 34 ODIs, amassing 1661 and 1361 runs in the two competitions, respectively.
