Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistani bowler, thinks that Pakistan and India can make it to the summit match of the international event.
MS Dhoni led the Indian team to its second ODI World Cup victory in 2011 at home after the nation won the tournament in 1983 under the legendary Kapil Dev’s captaincy. While Imran Khan was in charge, Pakistan only won the championship once, in 1992. While BCCI is reluctant to send the Indian team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, PCB is determined about holding the full tournament at home. Shoaib Akhtar believes the topic does not require as much attention because only the two countries’ governments have the authority to decide what will happen.
